Tracera, a pioneering AI-powered platform, has announced a significant financial boost with its latest $12m Series A funding round.

The round was spearheaded by Foundry, alongside contributions from Rho Ignition, Tola Capital, and Contour Venture Partners. Tracera, which has impressively garnered $17.25m in funding since its inception in 2023, is a frontrunner in leveraging Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data to refine sustainability reporting and cut costs effectively.

The investment will support Tracera’s mission to automate ESG data management, enabling companies to concentrate on actionable insights that reduce emissions, ensure compliance, and enhance efficiency. Tracera operates globally across more than 100 countries, addressing major sustainability challenges such as fragmented data, regulatory complexity, and the necessity for data transparency.

Its AI-driven platform is designed to automate workflow, eliminate silos, and produce auditable sustainability reports, servicing over 30 FORTUNE 2000 enterprise clients, including prominent names like EnerSys and La-Z-Boy Incorporated.

The fresh capital injection will be directed towards expanding Tracera’s innovative platform capabilities, particularly its recently launched Scope 3 emissions data tool. This tool automatically collects and analyzes supplier-specific emissions data, offering businesses a clearer picture of their environmental footprint and strategies for its reduction.

“Tracera’s ground-breaking technology tackles some of today’s most pressing challenges. It can extract sustainability data from any source, regardless of format or language, which helps eliminate silos and minimize manual effort,” Habib Kairouz, Managing Partner of Rho Capital Partners, highlighted. “With Tracera, companies can finally leave behind endless spreadsheets and embrace smarter, faster decision-making.”

“With regulatory pressures mounting and scrutiny of sustainability claims intensifying, the demand for accurate, traceable data is surging,” Foundry Partner Seth Levine commented. “Tracera’s comprehensive, AI-driven solution is perfectly suited to meet these challenges, turning sustainability reporting into a strategic advantage rather than a compliance headache.”
