Qover, a leading InsurTech, has partnered with automotive giants BMW and MINI to roll out a new embedded motor insurance product tailored specifically for the Irish market.

The company, known for building seamless embedded insurance experiences, is accelerating its reach into the premium automotive segment with this latest initiative.

The new offering was developed to address the evolving needs of drivers in Ireland, focusing on convenience, flexibility and tailored coverage. As consumers increasingly expect integrated, user-friendly digital services, Qover’s solution aims to align with these preferences by delivering an insurance experience that is as premium and streamlined as the vehicles themselves.

Qover specialises in embedded insurance solutions that help businesses integrate protection seamlessly into their products and services. By focusing on automation and a customer-centric digital experience, Qover enables partners to offer tailored insurance products at scale, without disrupting the core customer journey.

The newly launched motor insurance solution is designed to meet customers wherever they are in the car buying process. Whether they engage online or through a retailer, they can access insurance instantly. Policyholders can easily request a quote, enrol, and manage their policy entirely online or via customer care, supporting both digital and in-person channels.

Core features of the programme include guaranteed access to approved bodyshop repairs using only original BMW and MINI parts, a high level of flexibility allowing policyholders to manage or cancel their cover at any time, and tailored protection for a wide range of vehicles – including electric and hybrid models – with specific battery and charging cable coverage.

Launched within just a few months, this initiative makes Qover one of the first insurance providers to support embedded insurance for premium automotive brands in Ireland. The company highlights this as a milestone in InsurTech innovation in the market.

This launch is part of a multi-party collaboration supported by Wakam, a B2B2C insurer specialising in bespoke digital insurance solutions. Wakam’s technology and embedded insurance expertise play a crucial role in delivering this modern insurance experience for BMW and MINI customers in Ireland.

Qover CEO & Co-founder Quentin Colmant said, “This program showcases how embedded insurance transforms both customer experience and retailer engagement. By creating a seamless omnichannel journey, we’re meeting customers where they are while empowering retailers with digital tools. We’re proud to bring our technology to support BMW and MINI customers in Ireland, establishing one of the first embedded insurance solutions for premium automotive brands in this market.”

Wakam Group CEO Catherine Charrier-Leflaive said, “We’re proud to support Qover with our embedded insurance expertise and technologies. Together, we’re enabling a new era of personalised insurance, giving BMW and MINI drivers in Ireland access to trusted protection in a simple and efficient way.”

Qover and Wakam intend to continue working closely with BMW and MINI to monitor user feedback and refine the offering over time, ensuring it evolves with customer expectations.
