KYC Portal has launched KYCP as a Managed Service, a new offering aimed at helping organisations reduce the costs and complexity of managing compliance processes.
The launch of KYCP as a Managed Service comes in response to growing demand from businesses seeking cost-effective solutions to manage compliance and due diligence processes without investing heavily in IT infrastructure or system maintenance.
KYC Portal is a RegTech company that specialises in offering automated compliance platforms for client onboarding, due diligence, and lifecycle management. Its solutions are used by financial institutions, gaming operators, insurance providers, and other regulated entities to streamline compliance and risk management operations.
The new KYCP as a Managed Service provides organisations with access to their own compliance programmes within KYCP through a shared, fully-managed instance. This eliminates the need for clients to host their own infrastructure or handle ongoing maintenance, while still retaining full control over their compliance processes, risk assessments and workflows.
Clients using this MS Edition will benefit from a predictable pricing model that includes all hosting fees, enterprise license costs, ongoing system maintenance, and regular updates. KYC Portal will handle infrastructure monitoring, configuration updates, and support, allowing clients to focus solely on compliance and risk management.
However, the KYCP Managed Service also comes with some functional limitations. Clients will not have access to KYCP’s Customer Outreach Tool for corporate self-onboarding, nor will they be able to use APIs to integrate directly with internal systems like CRMs or ERPs. Additionally, the solution operates solely on a live production instance, with no test environments provided.
Despite these restrictions, KYCP as a Managed Service offers key features such as customisable workflows, integration with third-party data providers, and email outreach functionality. Clients can manage as many programmes as needed, while KYC Portal handles all configuration changes and system updates.
The solution is particularly suitable for businesses outside regulated sectors that still face reputational risk and require monitoring tools. This includes firms in logistics, IT suppliers affected by DORA requirements, and any suppliers to the banking industry needing to assess risks related to employees or vendors.
KYC Portal said the pricing model of the Managed Service is designed to offer cost predictability, with annual fees per user and a one-time fee per programme, enabling businesses to scale compliance operations without unexpected infrastructure costs.
