Equifax has launched a new mobile application, myEquifax, designed to make it easier for consumers to monitor their financial health directly from their smartphones.
Available for both Android and iOS users, the app allows individuals to access their Equifax credit report, manage credit freezes and fraud alerts, and monitor changes to their credit score with ease.
The myEquifax mobile app is available to anyone who has an existing myEquifax account. New users can gain access by registering for Equifax Core Credit, a free service that provides access to the app’s key features. Once logged in, users are able to view their VantageScore 3.0 credit score and make use of the “My Journey” feature, which allows them to set credit score goals and track progress toward financial milestones.
Security is a key component of the mobile app, which supports biometric authentication to help protect user data. In addition to credit insights, users can also explore financial education content via the Equifax Knowledge Center, which provides resources to better understand how credit works and how it affects overall financial wellbeing. Those who subscribe to Equifax’s paid services can also access expanded features, such as multi-bureau reports and identity restoration services.
Equifax direct to consumer business leader Aparna Shah said, “Our Purpose is to help people live their financial best, and providing consumers with the resources they need to increase their financial capability is an important part of that commitment. The new myEquifax mobile app, powered by The Equifax Cloud, is designed to help people better understand their current credit position and empower them in their financial lives.”
Equifax plans to roll out further updates to the app in the coming months. These will include enhanced personalised finance feedback and deeper insights within the “My Journey” feature to better support users’ credit journeys.
