DXC Technology and ServiceNow partner to launch AI-powered insurance solutions for operational efficiencyDXC Technology and ServiceNow partner to launch AI-powered insurance solutions for operational efficiency

DXC Technology, a Fortune 500 global technology services provider, and ServiceNow, a leading AI-powered platform for business transformation, have expanded their strategic partnership to modernise operations across the insurance industry.

The partnership was formed in response to growing pressures on insurers to accelerate innovation and growth while improving operational agility. Many insurance firms are still reliant on manual processes that slow down workflows and create inefficiencies. According to research from HFS Research, 45% of insurers are already investing in technology aimed at aligning front, middle, and back-office operations.

Together, DXC and ServiceNow have developed DXC Assure BPM powered by ServiceNow, a comprehensive insurance platform designed to integrate AI, data, and workflows across the entire policy lifecycle.

The solution aims to help insurers reduce process debt, automate manual tasks, and achieve up to 40% savings in operational costs. By combining DXC’s insurance-specific expertise with ServiceNow’s AI-driven automation capabilities, the platform supports everything from new business and underwriting to policy administration, billing, payments, and claims management.

The platform’s key features include preconfigured workflows based on DXC’s 40+ years of insurance experience, seamless integration with the DXC Assure Platform, and advanced security features. Additionally, the solution offers a self-service AI portal for policyholders, delivering personalised experiences and faster, more accurate responses to customer queries. Enhanced AI capabilities also automate back-office functions, freeing up insurers’ resources to focus on innovation and customer engagement.

DXC Technology president of insurance software and business process services Ray August said, “We are committed to delivering exceptional value to our customers and accelerating business outcomes. Our expanded partnership with ServiceNow will combine our deep insurance expertise with ServiceNow’s advanced AI workflow technology to drive speed, agility and operational transformation for insurers. Together, we are shaping the future of the insurance industry.”

ServiceNow executive vice president, worldwide industries, partners, and go-to-market Erica Volini said, “Unifying ServiceNow’s AI and workflows with DXC’s deep insurance industry insight has the power to change insurance processes in ways never possible before. Together we’re helping accelerate transformation across carriers – bringing greater agility and speed to each and every process.”
