Dream Payments, a Canadian FinTech specialising in embedded payments solutions, has launched Interac e-Transfer payouts on its DreamPay platform.
The move enables participating banks, insurers, enterprises, and SaaS platforms to issue real-time disbursements across Canada, according to FF News.
The introduction of this feature is driven by growing demand from Dream’s client base for faster, more secure, and simplified methods of sending payments — particularly in industries like insurance where timely disbursements are critical.
Dream Payments operates DreamPay, a cloud-based embedded payments platform that helps financial institutions, insurers, and software providers digitise and streamline their payment processes.
The company focuses on delivering scalable, API-first solutions that integrate easily into enterprise systems without major infrastructure changes.
The newly integrated Interac e-Transfer payout service allows organisations to send funds instantly using only a recipient’s email address or mobile phone number – eliminating the need to request or store sensitive banking details.
The service complements DreamPay’s existing support for electronic funds transfers (EFT), virtual cards, and cheques, and can be deployed via the company’s modern Payout API or no-code DreamPay Payout Portal.
This enhancement to the platform not only meets rising expectations for faster payouts but also ensures compatibility with existing ERP, treasury, and claims management systems. As a result, clients can embed real-time disbursements into their workflows without costly upgrades or disruptions.
