Alceberg, a pioneering company in the field of AI Trust technology, announced today that it has secured $10m in seed funding.

The financing round was led by SYN Ventures and Sprout & Oak, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey to innovate AI safety, security, and compliance.

The company has established itself as a leader in creating AI transparency and compliance solutions tailored for enterprises and public entities. With the new funds, AIceberg plans to continue its path of innovation, focusing on developing enterprise-grade security that provides real-time, automated validation of all AI application traffic—from speech and text to images and source code.

AIceberg’s unique platform acts as an AI firewall and gateway, monitoring and analyzing user prompts and model responses to detect risk signals. This system enables organizations to enforce security and comply with organizational policies effectively, thus mitigating risks associated with generative and agentic AI.

The funding will be used to enhance AIceberg’s capabilities in threat detection and security posture management. The company aims to stay ahead of AI cybersecurity threats, such as data leaks and unauthorized access, by maintaining a continuously updated security posture.

Alex Schlager, CEO of AIceberg, highlighted the urgency of their mission in the evolving AI landscape: “Organizations adopting generative and agentic AI face critical challenges in ensuring safety, security, and compliance. We are closing the security gap with AIceberg. Purpose-built, non-generative models to detect risk signals support safe AI adoption.”

Additional support and confidence come from AIceberg’s investors. Jay Leek, Managing Partner and Co-founder at SYN Ventures, remarked on the company’s industry leadership, saying, “AIceberg’s deep domain experience and unmatched technological capabilities have quickly positioned them as the industry leader in developing solutions to make safe AI systems. We are thrilled to invest in the team.”

MJ Ramachandran, Partner at Sprout & Oak, also praised AIceberg’s early achievements: “AIceberg has an exceptional leadership and research team with deep expertise in AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk management. Our decision to incubate and invest early was driven by AIceberg’s pioneering approach to AI security, compliance, and explainability.”
