VanishID, a cybersecurity firm specialising in agentic AI-powered executive protection for enterprises, has announced its rebrand from Picnic Corporation alongside the launch of its new CEO Protection service.

The company also revealed it has secured $10m in funding. The round was led by Dell Technologies Capital, with participation from notable investors including Mark McLaughlin, former CEO and chairman of Palo Alto Networks, as well as continued support from Crosslink Capital, Rally Ventures, Energy Impact Partners, Bright Pixel, and LockStep Ventures.

VanishID is positioned as a pioneer in the digital security landscape, offering an enterprise-grade, fully automated solution that protects executives and their families by removing personally identifiable information (PII) from the internet. The platform requires no effort from users, no internal integration, and does not rely on PII input from end-users—distinguishing it from traditional consumer solutions.

With this latest funding, VanishID plans to accelerate its go-to-market strategy and enhance its AI-driven capabilities. These advancements aim to provide seamless, scalable protection for high-profile individuals and key personnel in corporate environments.

The newly launched CEO Protection service expands upon VanishID’s existing Executive Protection tier by including impersonation protection for personal devices and social media, coverage for up to 25 family members or close associates, and a Red Team Assessment that analyses both physical and digital threat vectors.

Amid rising concerns around digital exposure and targeted threats, the firm’s offering is timely. According to VanishID, more than 93% of C-Suite executives have a home address exposed online, and nearly all—99.97%—have experienced some form of data breach. These vulnerabilities create a serious risk to both personal safety and organisational security.

Dell Technologies Capital managing director Raman Khanna said, “People represent the largest unprotected attack surface in any enterprise. The distance between cybersecurity and employees’ physical safety is narrowing dangerously, and corporate leaders are taking action. The VanishID platform is powerful and differentiated. In a market that has traditionally been served by consumer solutions reliant on manual offshore labour, VanishID has created the first, enterprise-grade, agentic AI solution that solves this problem at scale.”

Mark McLaughlin added, “CEOs, senior executives, and board members face a daunting challenge of being in the public eye yet trying to maintain their and their families’ privacy and security. VanishID is enabling those two priorities to not be in conflict with each other, which helps both organisations and individuals. I am delighted to help support them on their mission.”

VanishID founder and CEO Matt Polak said, “I am humbled to work with experienced investors like Raman Khanna and Mark McLaughlin, and I am thankful for the continued substantial participation from our existing venture investors. We have never been better positioned to help protect enterprises and their executives from myriad threats represented by digital exposure.”
