Yaspa, a London-based FinTech company specialising in real-time payment and account verification solutions, has announced its membership of The Payments Association, a prominent UK-based network of over 230 corporate members including Mastercard, Visa, and Worldpay.

The partnership aims to enhance Yaspa’s engagement with policymakers and key industry leaders, underlining its commitment to strengthening fraud prevention efforts and advancing innovation in the payments sector, according to FF News.

Through its membership, Yaspa seeks to play a more active role in influencing policy and collaborating on strategic industry initiatives.

Yaspa delivers cutting-edge payment solutions by leveraging open banking technology to enable fast and cost-effective Pay by Bank transactions.

Its flagship offering, Intelligent Payments, merges AI-driven verification and real-time risk assessments with secure, seamless user experiences. The company has been recognised for delivering innovative tools that streamline digital payments while enhancing security and operational efficiency for businesses.

The Payments Association serves as a key hub for collaboration and progress within the payments ecosystem.

It brings together a wide range of stakeholders, from start-ups to global giants like American Express, to share knowledge, shape regulations, and foster innovation. Its focus areas include open banking, artificial intelligence in payments, identity verification, and responsible gambling.

By participating in specialist working groups, Yaspa aims to contribute to critical discussions on topics such as open banking advancement, the integration of AI in transaction systems, and frameworks for secure user verification.

The collaboration will also allow Yaspa to expand its industry network and support broader sector development.

This milestone reinforces Yaspa’s strategic growth ambitions and its dedication to industry leadership beyond product innovation.

The membership signals a step forward in Yaspa’s mission to influence the digital payments landscape through meaningful partnerships and active involvement in policy-making forums.

Yaspa CMO Kate Marsden said, “We’re delighted to join a community that shares our belief in the power of open banking to deliver a streamlined payment experience for the user, and actionable insights for businesses.

“The Payment Association’s commitment to driving innovation and collaboration across the ecosystem makes it a natural fit for Yaspa as we continue to champion smarter, safer digital transactions.”

The Payments Association member engagement manager Freddie Marewa said, “We’re excited to have Yaspa on board at The Payments Association. We can’t wait to team up and help them make the most of their membership – our community will really benefit from the expertise they bring.

“We’re confident it will be a mutually valuable partnership with great opportunities for collaboration.”
