PXP, a global omnichannel payment platform and FinTech innovator, has announced the launch of its new standalone PXP POS payment solution.

The product reflects the company’s continued push to simplify and enhance commerce through cutting-edge payment technologies, according to FF News.

This launch comes in response to market research showing a shift in how businesses perceive payments technology.

According to a 2025 study by PXP and Censuswide, 64% of merchants now see payment solutions as a strategic growth enabler rather than just an operational tool, and 34% are actively expanding their payment method offerings. In this context, PXP’s latest release addresses a growing need for fast, simple, and secure payment solutions.

Founded on the principle of removing friction from payments, PXP offers a broad suite of services that simplify global transactions across all channels—online, mobile, and in-store.

Its core offering is the PXP Unity platform, a powerful orchestration layer designed to unify commerce and empower merchants with granular control over their payment ecosystem. With intelligent routing, real-time insights, and robust security, PXP currently processes over €30bn annually.

The newly launched standalone POS payment solution enables merchants to begin accepting payments within minutes without requiring integration or additional hardware. Supporting physical cards, contactless, digital wallets, and wearables, the solution operates on Android-based terminals—initially rolling out on the Castles S1F2 model.

Its one-step activation process and enterprise-grade uptime (99.996%) make it a dependable option for businesses of all sizes.

Security and compliance are embedded by design. The PXP POS solution is PCI DSS-compliant and EMV-certified, with all updates, monitoring, and support handled directly by PXP. This frees merchants from the burden of ongoing technical and compliance maintenance, enabling them to focus on growth and customer experience.

Beyond plug-and-play functionality, PXP has developed the new POS application with a strong emphasis on personalisation. Merchants will have access to a range of branding and configuration features, including digital and printed receipt styling, logo customisation, and tailored reports. While customisation will be somewhat limited at launch, PXP plans to expand these capabilities based on user feedback. Upcoming enhancements include multi-user account management, support for additional payment methods, and new value-added services.

This product introduction is part of a broader transformation for PXP, which earlier this year unveiled a refreshed brand identity and introduced the PXP Unity platform. The new brand and platform reflect PXP’s evolution into a technology-first global commerce ecosystem, built around real-time insights and merchant control.

PXP Group CEO Kamran Hedjri said, “PXP is committed to making merchants’ lives easier, giving them more time to focus on their business. The launch of our new standalone POS payment solution delivers on this commitment by providing an easy-to-implement, frictionless payment acceptance solution that works straight out of the box. With superior speed to market and hardware simplification, we’re enabling merchants to start accepting payments immediately while delivering the enterprise-grade security and reliability they demand.

What truly sets our solution apart is its omnichannel readiness—creating seamless payment experiences that follow customers across all touchpoints. Our POS solution integrates seamlessly with PXP’s broader payment ecosystem, maintaining consistency whether customers shop in-store or online. This unified approach, orchestrated through our robust PXP Unity platform, ensures merchants can offer their customers a frictionless experience at every interaction point while focusing on what matters most—growing their business.”
