CodeAnt AI, a US-based software development startup, has raised $2m in seed funding to accelerate code reviews using artificial intelligence.
The investment round was led by Y Combinator, VitalStage Ventures, and Uncorrelated Ventures, with support from DeVC, Transpose Platform, Entrepreneur First and several angel investors. The round values the company at $20m.
Founded by Amartya Jha and Chinmay Bharti, CodeAnt AI automates code review processes, helping developers reduce review time and catch bugs early. The platform integrates with GitHub, GitLab and other tools, offering AI-driven insights and one-click fixes for over 30 programming languages.
The funding will go towards growing the team and scaling the company’s code quality and security platform, which is already seeing strong enterprise adoption.
CodeAnt AI CEO Amartya Jha said, “In today’s AI-driven environment, enterprises need solutions that either replace aging systems or deliver clear productivity gains. CodeAnt AI is built to do both — helping companies move faster and stay competitive without compromising on security or code quality.”
Tom Blomfield, partner at Y Combinator, said, “With more and more code being generated by AI, code review has never been more important. CodeAnt fits into your CI/CD pipeline and ensures that only high-quality code makes it into production. Not AI-generated slop!”
