Brite Payments, a Sweden-based FinTech specialising in instant bank payments, has announced a new partnership with OXID eSales, a leading German provider of scalable e-commerce shop solutions.

The collaboration aims to deliver seamless and secure payment experiences by integrating Brite Instant Payments and Brite Instant Payouts into OXID’s shop system via a simple plugin, according to FF News.

This will enable merchants to provide fast, reliable payment options and streamline the often-complex refund process in e-commerce.

The partnership is designed to address rising demand for frictionless checkout experiences and to support merchants looking to optimise conversion rates.

By enabling Pay by Bank capabilities, the integration supports faster transactions, improved cashflow predictability, and reduced fraud risks—all of which are becoming increasingly critical in a competitive e-commerce landscape.

OXID eSales offers its flagship product, OXID eShop, to B2B and B2C merchants across various industries. The platform is known for its scalability and flexibility, helping online retailers customise checkout processes to improve user experience and boost sales.

Brite Payments utilises open banking technology to facilitate real-time, secure transactions. Its Brite Instant Payments Network (Brite IPN) allows consumers to make purchases without registration, manual card entry, or additional app downloads.

In addition to payments, Brite’s Instant Payouts feature simplifies e-commerce refunds, a historically challenging process for many online merchants.

The partnership also comes in light of recent consumer trends in Germany, OXID’s core market. According to research from Brite, 67% of Germans are familiar with Pay by Bank services, with 36% of 18–29-year-olds using the method daily or weekly. Additionally, 40% of German consumers are open to trying new digital payment methods, highlighting the growth potential in the region.

“OXID is trusted by leading brands as an experienced and innovative provider,” said Brite Payments CEO Lena Hackelöer. “Brite Instant Payments can be easily integrated into existing shops and facilitates a smooth payments experience for consumers. Additionally, merchants benefit from real-time transaction processing, which means predictable cashflow, reduced fraud risk, and lower operational costs.”

“With Brite Instant Payments, merchants can expand their checkout with a leading Pay by Bank provider, giving consumers a fast and convenient way to pay,” OXID eSales head of sales Gerd Kasdorf said. “OXID is committed to making the checkout process as simple and flexible as possible – it’s clear that instant payments fit the bill perfectly.”
