Managing producers has long been a pain point for the insurance industry, causing fragmented systems, regulatory complexity, and endless paperwork. Agentero’s latest innovation, Producerflow, sets out to solve it once and for all.
For carriers, MGAs, and agencies, producer management is often an operational minefield. Onboarding new agents means collecting data, verifying licenses, securing appointments, and maintaining compliance across a tangled web of state regulations—all while using outdated, disconnected systems.
The process is slow, expensive, and error-prone—and failure to comply carries steep regulatory risks. Despite the rise of InsurTech solutions in other areas, few platforms have truly tackled this particular bottleneck.
That’s where Producerflow comes in. In an exclusive interview with FinTech Global, Agentero CEO and founder Luis Pino opened up on the platform’s origin and why it’s resonating so strongly with the market.
“We built Producerflow because we couldn’t find a solution that made onboarding agencies easy, verified licenses at scale, and integrated with our systems,” Pino explains. “The few options out there were way too expensive.”
The offering addresses the complex and time-consuming process of onboarding new producers, verifying licenses, and managing appointments while navigating state regulations. It automates onboarding, tracks licenses in real-time, and integrates with state systems and NIPR, offering dashboards and a flexible API to reduce the manual workload.
Early users praise its flexibility and efficiency, with Pino noting: “We’ve taken a big chunk of work off people’s hands… They can focus on value-added tasks instead of manually checking licenses. And because we run lean, we pass those savings on.”
The tool’s strength lies in its integration with existing systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, and e-signature platforms, ensuring it enhances rather than disrupts workflows. “Integrations are a must,” Pino insists. This adaptability has made Producerflow a game-changer in the industry, similar to how AWS evolved from an internal need into a major force.
Pino’s roadmap for 2025 and beyond is ambitious, with a focus on AI to extract and enrich data for deeper insights into agencies. “The more data we can provide seamlessly, the more value we add,” he says.
Self-serve tools for agencies, allowing real-time profile updates, are also in development. Integrations will remain a priority to keep Producerflow adaptable in a rapidly changing industry.
Agentero’s broader goal is to become “the de facto data source for carriers when it comes to knowing anything about their agencies,” according to Pino. This ambition aligns with their founding mission, “to digitally enable insurance agents and carriers to provide a safety net for society.”
