eBay, a global commerce leader connecting millions of buyers and sellers across 190 markets, is set to expand its payment infrastructure through a partnership with Checkout.com.

The move will enhance the end-to-end commerce experience for eBay’s users, according to FF News.

The partnership is designed to support eBay’s ongoing efforts to offer seamless, fast, and secure transactions for customers worldwide.

By integrating Checkout.com’s payments platform, eBay is looking to improve acceptance rates and drive efficiencies across its payment operations, enabling smoother and more reliable transactions for buyers and sellers alike.

eBay, which hosts over 2.3bn live listings, is one of the world’s largest online marketplaces.

The platform allows users to buy and sell a broad range of items including pre-loved fashion, rare collectibles, electronics, and automotive parts. eBay’s mission is to create economic opportunity for individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses of all sizes globally.

Checkout.com is a globally recognised FinTech specialising in digital payments. The company provides a unified platform offering acquiring, processing, and payment services across multiple channels.

Known for its advanced technology and deep data insights, Checkout.com enables businesses to optimise payment performance and grow in international markets.

This collaboration reinforces eBay’s commitment to leveraging modern financial infrastructure to support business and customer growth.
