SiriusPoint, a global specialty insurer and reinsurer, has announced a new strategic collaboration with Irwin Siegel Agency (ISA) to jointly launch a Casualty and Excess programme.

The partnership is designed to provide tailored insurance and risk management solutions to organisations working within the human and social services sectors. The programme will be accessible exclusively through wholesale distribution.

ISA brings nearly six decades of experience underwriting Property and Casualty insurance and delivering risk solutions to providers serving vulnerable communities.

The MGU focuses on services including developmental disabilities, addiction treatment, mental health care, and youth programmes. Operating under Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, ISA has built a strong reputation for its targeted expertise in niche human services markets.

SiriusPoint, as a specialty insurer and reinsurer, brings its global underwriting capability and risk-bearing capital to the partnership.

Known for its flexible and innovative approach in supporting MGAs, the firm’s involvement will allow ISA to enhance its reach and efficiency in providing cover for underserved sectors.

This collaboration is expected to bridge an existing market gap by offering insurance products specifically designed for organisations such as community action agencies, emergency shelters, job training centres, and outreach programmes.

By focusing on areas where demand for tailored risk solutions is high, both firms aim to expand their impact across the social services ecosystem.

SiriusPoint head of North America insurance Patrick Charles said, “The launch of a new Casualty and Excess program will not only deliver innovative insurance and risk management solutions to a gap in the market, but will fill a distinct need in the human and social services space. We look forward to a successful collaboration with ISA.”

Ryan Specialty National Programs CEO Shawn Yingling said, “We are excited to collaborate with SiriusPoint to launch this new strategic initiative. SiriusPoint has a notable reputation for individualised support in the MGA space, providing specialist expertise and paper to service niche sectors. They are an optimal trading partner. This new initiative will enhance our ability to remain focused on our one primary goal, to provide innovative insurance and risk management solutions to those serving our society’s most vulnerable.”
